This week Larraine Segil gave the first Larraine Segil Award for Alliance Competency at the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles to Linda LoRe, former CEO of Giorgio’s of Beverly Hills, and Fredericks of Hollywood who is a candidate for the Presidential Key Executive MBA program, the same program that Larraine Segil graduated from in 1984. Larraine set up this scholarship to reward women PKE MBA candidates on their leadership in the management of business alliances and to encourage more women to build competency in this field, in which Ms Segil created a global reputation over the past three decades. Here she announces the award, accompanied by Dean Linda Livingstone, Dean of the Graziadio School.
