Larraine Segil (Southwestern J.D. ’79) was formerly CEO of companies in healthcare, aerospace and strategic alliance consulting – all entrepreneurial companies which she founded or co-founded, grew and sold. She now serves on various boards including Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR), a Fortune 300 Telecom company, and the World Health Organization (WHO) Tropical Diseases Board in Geneva. She is the author of numerous books, and has also graciously funded a scholarship for a woman student interested in strategic alliances as part of the Southwestern/Drucker J.D./M.B.A. program.

Joan E. Herman formerly served for ten years in a variety of positions at WellPoint, Inc., a premier health benefits organization with over $60 billion in revenue, including serving as President and CEO of WellPoint’s Consumer Business Unit, where she oversaw the management of 5.9 million medical members and $18 billion in revenue. She now serves on various for-profit and non-profit boards, including MRV Communications, a network telecommunications equipment and services company, and QualiCorp, a Brazilian
health benefits corporation. She is also President and CEO of Herman and Associates LLC, a healthcare and management consulting firm.
